Interesting Chinese Sugar Painting

Sugar painting is an traditional Chinese folk art or craft that has been around for thousands of years. It uses hot and melted sugar to create two dimensional edible figures as snack or treat for kids.
Normally a artist draws the figure by drizzling the melted sugar from a small ladle onto a flat surface, such as a white marble or metal, to form the figure. A wooden stick such as a skewer is attached to the figure as handle. Once the sugar painting art cools down, the artist uses a flat spatula to carefully ply the figure off the surface.
