How To Make Teardrop Necklace
Here is a DIY tutorial to make a fabulous green teardrop necklace. This necklace look gorgeous for many occasions. It is quite easy to make such a teardrop necklace. Here are what you need to make this necklace.
Materials:
- 6mm Green Bicone beads 80pcs
- 6/0 green seed beads 300pcs
- 11x8mm green teardrop beads 8pcs
- 0.3mm nylon thread
- 0.5mm ball pin 8pcs
- Lobster clasp with jump rings 1set
- 7mm Dia. jump ring 9pcs
Tools:
- Round nose pliers
- Needle nose pliers
- Scissors
DIY Tutorial
Step 1: Cut down 150cm nylon thread, and put trough 10pcs seed bead in the center. Cross string into an 11th seed bead, stretch tight into a loop.
Step 2: For each strand thread, string 1pc bicone and 4pcs seed beads. Then string back through the 1st seed bead. String another bicone for each strand, and cross string through a seed bead.
Step 3: String 1pc seed bead for each strand, then cross string another 1pc seed bead and your 1st bead square is finished.
Step 4: Repeat Step 2 & Step 3 to make 20 bead squares total.
Step 5: When you finish the 20th bead square, string 10pcs seed beads in to one of the strand, stretch tight and tie a knot with the other strand.
Step 6: Put the ball pin through the teardrop bead and bend the other side into a loop. Attach the teardrop charms on the bead necklace with jump rings. Link the lobster clasp with the bead necklace with jump rings. The necklace is ready to wear.
