How to grow strawberries in pots step by step DIY tutorial instructions

The strawberries I picked from my own yard are day-and-night better than the ones I bought from groceries. Mine are much sweeter and fresher.

There are three types of strawberries: June-bearing, Ever-bearing, and Day-neutral. You can chose one or more based on your needs. June-bearing produces crops each summer. Ever-bearing produces fruits when the days have more than 12 hours of daylight. Day-neutral produces berries throughout the growing season with three peaks in early June, middle July, and late August.

Day-neutral tends to have the smallest berries, but are really delicious. Although June-bearing has only one peak crop season, but it tends to have largest crop. Comparing to June-bearing, Ever-bearing has a total crop smaller than that of June-bearing, but its crop spreads through out much of the summer.

If you don’t have much yard space, you can use planting pots to grow strawberries. With this nice stacking planting pot, you can grow a lot of strawberries. Here are what you need for growing strawberries
