
Bit by mosquitoes is not fun at all, as they may spread deadly viruses. Commercial mosquito repellents are usually a good solution, but they also usually contain N,N-Diethyl-m-toluamide, aka DEET. Although DEET is approved by the EDA, but it has some known side effects, such as causing eye irritation, causing skin rashes, soreness, or blistering, and so on.
What I am featuring today is a recipe to make all natural, non-toxic, DEET free, people friendly DIY mosquito repellent. In addition to water, here are what you need to make these mosquito sprays
- castor oil (1 teaspoon)
- Rosemary essential oil (8 drops)
- Lemon-grass essential oil (8 drops)
- Geranium essential oil (4 drops)
