How To Make Simple Tie-on Slippers

The Elle Tie-on slippers are so cute and nice. I would love to have one pair for myself.

Tie-on Slippers

With the template here from Tissue papers blog, it is quite easy to make these simple tie-on slippers. The template included 1/4 seam allowance. For each bootie,

  1. Cut one from solid-color, one from print. Enlarge or decrease pattern so folded size measure one inch larger than your foot size.
  2. Stitch dart (dotted line) and heal seam; right sides together, seam pieces, leaving small opening for turning right side out.
  3. Hand stitch to finish.
  4. Tie and adjust to fit your feet.
