Space becomes more and more expensive in most major cities worldwide. That’s why more and more people have no choice but to live in smaller and smaller apartments.
In Paris, people started converting tiny “maid rooms” into studio apartments. Design studio Kitoko came up with this solution to convert this 8 square-meter studio into a tiny apartment that has everything an apartment provides. It has space for sleep, cook, eat, wash, and work, as well as leaving ample space for storing clothes and other belongings.
According to the studio, their design refers to the “concept of a Swiss army knife”, which manages to fit many useful tools in a very small space. Scroll down for the video demonstration.
Here is comparison between before and after the renovation. Very creative!
